RIP Auntie B

On account that my father was blessed with a twin sister, i had an Auntie B.
My Dad died way back in the May of 96, this week he's joined by his twin, Auntie B.
Her Cancer, which showed itself through a dark patch on her neck, had inwardly traveled to her rather wonderful brain, causing her to have a debilitating stroke not five days ago. Her immediate family decided that Hospital was pointless and kept her at home for her last days, of which 04:00 on Saturday was just that.
She had been fighting the Big C for the last six months, coming from an age of smoking being a fashionable pursuit, like many others it was the making of her end... Which i believe was in her 76 year, so tough old Auntie B had a good innings.
Though the timing of her departure has proven rather a sad note, for her cremation is this Friday
the same day as her husbands birthday, an anniversary that will not be celebrated much anymore.
She is Survived by her Husband John and their three children and countless grandchildren, one of which is serving the British Army in Afghanistan, she's extremely proud of him, and no doubt a little worried.
Her husband John (uncle John) is a tall handsome man, suave and elegant, one of the best.
He's holding up well in front of everyone, though alone he must be struggling, that's normal, the first few weeks are always the toughest.
I shall remember her fondly, her manners and her voice will always be with me and of course I'll miss her.

Along with my late father they have one more brother left standing, himself a widow he'll know what John is going through and I'm sure he'll help the best he can.

RIP Auntie B

I hope you travel well wherever you may be.
